Clear Shine Services LLC Terms and Conditions

By accepting a quote from Clear Shine Services LLC, you ("the customer") agree to the following terms governing the services provided by Clear Shine Services LLC. These terms outline the scope of services, client responsibilities, and other pertinent details regarding your engagement with our company.

1. General Service Terms

Authorization for Services
By accepting our quote, the customer authorizes Clear Shine Services LLC to perform the services detailed in the provided quote. While we strive to adhere to scheduled timeframes, please note that service completion times are estimates, not guarantees, and may vary. Multiple visits to the customers property may be required to complete the services.

Property Access
The customer grants Clear Shine Services LLC permission to access their property with little to no notice for the purpose of assessing service needs before the scheduled service date and upon completion.

Use of Utilities
The customer authorizes Clear Shine Services LLC to use their water and electricity as necessary to perform the services outlined in the quote.

Client Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all valuables are removed from areas where work will be performed. If windows are obstructed by objects such as treadmills, furniture, closets, or personal belongings, and we cannot access them, those windows will be skipped and will still be included in the invoice.

Hard Water Removal
Hard water removal services will be charged regardless of the treatment results, as not all hard water stains are removable. If the customers windows are heavily corroded, replacement may be necessary, and the company will not be held responsible in such circumstances.

Gutter Debris Disposal
The customer agrees to dispose of their own gutter debris. A green bin or any specified location by the customer should be arranged for disposal.

Communication and Notifications
By inquiring about our services or conducting business with Clear Shine Services LLC, you consent to receive notifications and messages (via email or text) regarding our promotions or services. Clear Shine Services LLC will never sell or share the customers contact information.

Payment Terms
Payment to Clear Shine Services LLC is due upon the completion of services. If payment is not made within three (3) days of service completion, the customers credit card on file will be automatically charged. If no card is on file and payment is not made within seven (7) days, the invoice will be sent to collections.

2. 7 Day Rain Guarantee

Guarantee Coverage
Clear Shine Services LLC offers a 7 Day Rain Guarantee exclusively for our window cleaning services. This guarantee covers any windows that are negatively impacted by rain within 7 days of cleaning, resulting in noticeable streaks, spots, or reduction in the clarity of the cleaned windows.

Service Re-Assessment
If rain occurs within 7 days after the customers windows have been cleaned and the customer believes the rain has diminished the quality of our work, please contact us immediately. A Clear Shine Services LLC representative will inspect the affected windows to determine if a touch up is necessary.

Complimentary Re-Cleaning
If it is determined that rain has impacted the cleanliness of the customers windows within the 7 day period, Clear Shine Services LLC will touch up the affected windows at no additional charge. This touch up will be scheduled at the earliest available time that works for both parties.

Exclusions
This guarantee does not cover:

  • Dirt, dust, or spots resulting from other weather conditions such as wind-blown debris, pollen, or bird droppings.
  • Windows affected by sprinkler systems, hard water stains, or other non-rain-related water sources.
  • Any issues unrelated to rain or caused by damage from the customer or third parties.

Notification Requirement
To qualify for the 7 Day Rain Guarantee, the customer must notify Clear Shine Services LLC within 7 days of the original service. Failure to report the issue within this timeframe will result in the voiding of the guarantee.

Service Limitations
This guarantee applies only to exterior window surfaces. Interior window surfaces are not covered under this rain guarantee.

Re-Cleaning Limit
The 7 day guarantee allows for one complimentary touch up of the affected windows. If rain impacts the re-cleaned windows again within the next 7 days, additional re-cleaning services may be offered at the discretion of Clear Shine Services LLC, potentially subject to an additional fee.

3. Christmas Lights Installation and Removal

Power Supply

All bids are made under the assumption that adequate power supplies and receptacles are available. The Customer is responsible for maintaining and providing adequate electrical outlets adjacent to the proposed locations for lit decorations and building lights.

Maintenance Program

Clear Shine Services LLC's standard maintenance program covers any issues strictly related to the quality of the installation. Any issues unrelated to the quality of installation are not covered. This includes, but is not limited to, extreme weather conditions (blizzards, winds exceeding 10 mph, etc.), animals chewing through wires, the Customer adding to the lights resulting in blown fuses or other issues, and damage caused by the homeowner, their guests, or other contractors. The Customer is responsible for the cost of replacing any damaged materials.

Pricing Structure (example)

1. 1-Year Contract

  • Year 1: $x.xx per lighted foot

2. 2-Year Contract

  • Year 1: Discounted rate of $x.xx per lighted foot
  • Year 2: 25% decrease in cost from initial.

3. 3-Year Contract

  • Year 1: Discounted rate of $x.xx per lighted foot
  • Year 2: 25% decrease in cost from initial.
  • Year 3: Additional 25% decrease in cost from initial.

Note: Each subsequent year's price reflects a 25% reduction from the previous year's price.

Payments

A deposit of 50% must be received before work will begin. The full amount for the product (lighting and accessories), installation, and removal must be paid in full upon completion of the installation. The Customer acknowledges that Clear Shine Services LLC fills its schedule well in advance. The down payment books your spot on our calendar and is non-refundable. If payment is late or past due, service will be discontinued until payment in full is received by Clear Shine Services LLC. If payment is declined or checks are returned, a $35.00 processing fee will be applied. Invoices will be sent via email and/or text.

Ownership

The Customer understands that they are purchasing and will own their custom Christmas lights. This includes lighted wire, extension cords, and timers. The Customer must take possession of their product at the end of their contract term. You have 12 months from the end of your contract to take possession or the product will be destroyed. Due to the storage life of commercial Christmas lights, the Customer may be required to purchase new lights after three years of use and storage.

Hours/Dates of Operation

Clear Shine Services LLC will be closed on November 26th, December 24th–26th, December 31st, and January 1st. Installations begin on October 15th. Teardowns start January 5th, subject to our availability.

Alterations

The Customer is not allowed to make permanent alterations to the lights unless granted express written permission. In the event the Customer makes unauthorized changes, Clear Shine Services LLC will not be responsible for any resulting damage or additional costs.

4. Miscellaneous

Minimum Service Charge

Clear Shine Services LLC requires a minimum service charge of $200 for any scheduled service. This charge applies regardless of the scope or duration of the service performed. Any additional services beyond this minimum may incur extra charges, as detailed in your service quote or agreement.

Changes to Terms and Conditions
Clear Shine Services LLC reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without notice.
